Studio 215 Project

Today, our event venue is the perfect location for for all kinds of events and celebrations... BUT... it wasn't always this way! Once upon a time, there was a gorgeous building with the potential to be even more amazing. Add an idea and the vision for the possibilities and now you have the event venue that you see today. It took creativity, lots of hard work, and determination to bring our vision to fruition.

Studio 215 Project Intro Video

Watch our fast-paced introductory promotional video below that showed off our space before we started demolition and transformation.

Demolition

Check out the short video below taken in late Oct 2015 of the space being demo'ed to make room for Studio 215.

The photo below shows the studio literally just after the dust settled from the demolition. You can tell this is a large, versatile space!

Below is a messy photo of our prep kitchen just after the bar window had been walled in.

Below is a panoramic image of the interior walls with the first coat of primer.

The photo below shows the prep work on the old concrete floor in early Dec 2015 before the surface was smoothed and sealed.

Prepping the Concrete Floor

Our contractor's crew took a break from the interior work while the flooring guys began sealing the concrete. The former entrance to our studio was bright yellow and dark teal with exposed concrete pillars. Check out the new grey and black exterior.

Below is a photo of our flooring just after it was finished in Dec 2015.  We used two coats of clear sealant to bring out the natural colors in the old concrete flooring.  Thanks so much to Rhino for doing a fantastic job for us!

Floor just after Concrete Finishing

The picture below from December 2015 shows the partially finished space from the mezzanine above the spiral staircase. The interior painting is mostly finished in this photo.  Next we'll raise the fire sprinklers, finish the electrical system, add bistro lights, build one-of-a-kind mobile planters, add one exterior door to our private outdoor patio, add upholstered antique furniture to the bridal suite, and set up all of the chiavari chairs and tables.
