Say Hello to…

Taryn Corrado

(Pronounced “T-air-rin Core-rah-doe" )

Get to know the person behind Studio 215 and her journey to becoming the Owner.

— LIFE UPDATE: Taryn just became a first time Mom with her blessing baby in September 2023! —

Taryn was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest (Washington State).  She moved to North Carolina in 2012 since her parents were already stationed here at Fort Liberty.  Since moving to NC she has obtained her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, met her now husband, and fallen in love with the Carolina lifestyle. While she will always have a love of mathematics she has also always had a passion for DIY projects, decorating and helping her clients create the event of their dreams.  This was shown through her own wedding here at Studio 215 where she planned her entire ceremony and reception. She fell in love with the industrial charm and exposed brick walls of Studio 215 from the very beginning!

Taryn will be the the person on the other end of every communication, social media post and most likely the person you will meet when you tour Studio 215. She loves transparency and smooth communication so she loves to let everyone know from day one, email is always the BEST form of communication.

Message from Taryn…

Hi there! I am so happy you are here. I am a firm believer that people should know the person behind the business. When people choose Studio 215 they are not only choosing a REALLY amazing and unique venue, they are choosing to support me and my family. Every single one of our clients (past, present and future) are an extension of my family. I am one that always wants people to know how much I appreciate them and how much it is a true honor, privilege and blessing to have them celebrate their event here at Studio 215. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for even being here!

HERE ARE SOME RANDOM FUN FACTS TO GET TO KNOW ME AS A PERSON EVEN BETTER:

  • When I am not at the Studio, I am most likely doing one of the following:

    • Spending quality time with my family and loved ones. Family is hands down my biggest blessing in life! I am a very family oriented person. Even if it is just conversing around the kitchen island, relaxing in the living room or playing games. I truly enjoy doing the simplest things with them! Since neither myself nor my husband is originally from North Carolina, we have our family (outside of our parents) sprinkled throughout the United States. Majority of my family lives in Wisconsin actually so we try to go up there when we can.

    • Thrifting or antiquing with my mom. We love to go on random adventures to see what random places we can find on the way!

    • Supporting local small businesses. There is nothing that I love more than supporting small shops and restaurants. Wherever I go I try to find a small business to support! Not only are they always the kindest and most appreciative people, they have the best products/food!

  • I always joke and tell people my DJ name is “Taryn-it-up”

  • Like a true raised Washingtonian, I run on coffee. An iced or blended coffee (never hot) from The Morning Jump Coffee Company is my absolute favorite!
